Service Officer Bio:

  Max W. Reed enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve in September 1954. He served in Field Artillery until his discharge as a PFC in November 1961.

  In November 1961 he joined the U.S. Air Force and served until his retirement in December 1989. He achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (LTC), and was a pilot.

  He has been the Wabash County Veterans' Service Officer since November 1992.
