Service Officer Bio:
U.S. Air Force retiree, Richard Adams, spent 22 years as a security police (SP) officer in the USAF with one tour in Vietnam during 1967-68 serving at Kanto Air Base. He later served one term as county sheriff in Nebraska, and three years as a member of the Nebraska Crime Commission before deciding he'd had enough of crime and punishment.
He returned to school in Idaho and, after graduation, became a nursing home administrator. Still in that capacity, he transferred to California where he retired and returned to Indiana.
He and his wife, Leona, have two children. One resides in Idaho and the other in Nebraska.
